Color me shocked!
Seriously, I'm shocked. I can't believe that what happened
actually just happened. The old Nakum has just taken another
lump and in the merge, if 'old' tribal lines are reunited,
OldNakum is completely outnumbered by OldYaxha, which for
me is freakin' awesome! Because that mean Stephenie has a
shot still.
Maybe Brian is the mastermind?
You know, Brian is a tad...well, special, but I will give
the man some credit. He took credit for keeping Lydia over
Morgan, and hence, Morgan was voted out. His neck was on the
line this tribal council because in the NewYaxha tribe, he
and the OldYaxhas were outnumbered by OldNakums. But did that
stop him? Nope. He made up a new game: Bait Blake. And it
was ingenious, as Blake was arrogant enough to fall right
into it. You NEVER want to make yourself annoying, and Brian
knew that Blake was starting to get on people's nerves, and
he played on Blake's obvious need for attention. And boy did
he play the Bait Blake game. Everyone on NewYaxha knew everything
about Blake. And they really didn't want to. And so, Blake
gets voted off, and Brian, once again, gets his way and is
safe. Brian is definitely looking like the guy to beat. But
Stephenie will take care of him when the time is right.
The Humiliating Reward Challenge
Jamie needs to be ashamed. I mean, NewYaxha beat the hell
out of NewNakum on that reward challenge. Crazy Farmer Brandon
takes a few chops and BOTH ropes are gone in a matter of seconds.
Jamie saws away at the ropes and while he's busy doing that,
NewYaxha decides to just go and finish the challenge without
worrying about the whole competition thing. I felt for Stephenie
on this one - she's been cursed with bad luck, but who knew
how the Immunity challenge was going to go? I know some people
are going to say they're tired of Stephenie and her whining,
but seriously, I can not blame her for feeling that way. And
at least she's only whining to the camera, and realizes she
better keep her cool in front of the tribe. Although it's
QUITE obvious she's bummed out about her tribe's lackluster
performance, at least up until.....
NewNakum Strikes Back!
Thank goodness, because seriously, I was getting tired of
seeing the sadStephenie show and her tribe constantly losing.
And they actually did a good damn job of winning that catapult
catch challenge. They managed to steal a couple too, which
was pretty fun to watch. And they chose wisely to have Lydia
be a part of that challenge as the shooter, because, well,
okay, that really wasn't wise or anything, but Lydia got some
points at least for helping in the win. And I'm beginning
to like Lydia more and more. Jamie, on the other hand, was
a good competitor, but a horrendous winner. Seriously, Jamie,
do you think you're going to win again and again? Because
you know that performance is going to haunt you when NewYaxha
wins again, and you know they will. That's what I think the
previews were showing, because I'm guessing Jamie does it
again and Bobby Jon loses it, or NewYaxha wins and Bobby Jon
mocks Jamie's performance, causing Jamie to lose it. Guess
we'll see in a week or so.
Final Thoughts
Finally, the game is a bit more interesting. I think that
Stephenie's tribe will reform after the merge. Meaning that
all the former Nakums are going to find themselves getting
voted out one by one. Because even though Judd turned, he's
now Stephenie's pawn. And NewYaxha is now evenly matched in
numbers, and with Brian's deviousness convincing Danni to
turn against her tribe, I believe it's only logical to assume
that Brian will get the Yaxha advantage eventually. Yay for
Survivor returning to form! OH yeah, I'm totally using Lydia's
Pancake Dance at the next club I go to. She actually showed
some cool style in that dance and it's not as obvious as the
Sprinkler or the Shopping Cart. Thanks Lydia!

Other's Thoughts:
C-Money speaks!!!!!!
I know
this is way late, but I just have a few things to say...
I'm SO glad that Nakum finally won a challenge!! Especially
an immunity challenge. I was SO tired of listening to Stephanie
whine about it... she was driving me crazy! She whined last
Survivor and she's still doing it now. Maybe if she didn't
have the "I HAVE to win" attitude and stopped blaming
it on everyone else, maybe she'd realize that maybe her attitude
is the reason they are not winning any challenges. I mean,
come on! Bobby John hasn't whined this season, nor did he
whine last season. Shut up and just play. Relax and play.
Maybe then your team will come together and win. So, yes,
Hobie, I'm tired of her whining.
Lydia is a freak... that's all that needs to said about that.
I liked the fact that Blake was voted out. You know, in all
previous Survivors the person who talks the most is usually
the first to go. No one likes a talker, they like DOERS! It's
funny, I work with a guy like Blake. Everyday, he has a new
"story" to tell. Something to make him the center
of attention and I can't stand the guy! He makes himself out
to be this so important person. "Generals ask for me
by name", " I was told I HAD to be the DV briefer",
"I called Mr. T. on the phone and invited him to a party
once. Told him I'd pay him to come to my house... he said
no.", "Every chief just loves me on this base and
all because I bought them beer." Man, how pathetic is
that? Then, when Katrina came, he was the first person to
curl up in the fetal position in the corner and chew his fingernails
down to the quick. Literally. He was the biggest baby I have
ever seen, so to me, Blake resembled this guy. Blake needed
booting.
Brian, you little fag. You are so cute I want to pinch your
cheeks! So sneaky... me likey! Work it babe!
What's the big deal about Gary being a professional quarterback?
Who cares? So what? He's out there, he's playing the game,
why keep it a secret? Someone explain it to me. And what's
up with the "skeleton" in this game? Danni probably
weighed about 80 pounds before this game started, she's close
to 60 now. Nothing at all attractive about that. Anorexic
if you ask me... and she's big into sports, so she knows Gary
is a liar. Will she hold it against him? We'll have to see...
Next week (well, this week) looks awesome. I hope Jamie gets
his ass kicked by Bobby John. Jamie just has this look about
him that I don't like. He looks like a jerk, so I guess he
is a jerk. That's just my thoughts on that one. But, individual
immunity already? So early in the game? People are gonna be
picked off way to early and some skinny, scrawny loser is
going to win this time. Come on, Jeff, a little too early
for my taste.
Well, that's all I can remember on the Survivor subject. Hopefully
I'll get soemthing out to you on Thursday after the show.
P.S. - Have I told you lately that I hate hurricanes? And
that I'm moving to Canada? No? Well, I did now...
Byron chimes in?
Linus laments?
Mom mumbles?
Fox pontificates?
Robbie ruminates?
