Survivor's Back!!!! And with 20 Contestants,
to boot!
So, I've finally returned to my roots and put up my Survivor page.
Vanuatu didn't get a website because I was stuck at SOS when it
started and I never had a chance to catch up. But haha! I am ready
for this season. So let's talk about some of the pre-show rumblings:
Stuck on the island with no help? Yeah,
right.....
I don't buy it. Some of these people look utterly useless. I think
the rumor about 3 people leaving may be a direct result of that
perceived uselessness.
How many teams will there be at the beginning?
With 20 people at the outset, I guess it would be possible to have
2 large teams, but I am fond of there being 4 small teams. Especially
with that 3 people gone thing on the first episode. What I then
imagine is one more round of 3 people out, and then a merge of the
4 teams into 2 teams will happen, probably along the lines of how
Saboga got dissolved, in which the top two teams get to pick from
the bottom two teams as to who they'll merge with. But my real secret
desire is that these 20 people get dropped on the island, with no
team affiliation at all. At that point, they let alliances form
amongst whomever. But that would probably be too aimless. Guess
we'll see in a few days, eh?
So is there a team this year?
Nope, I don't think Robbie or Byron are watching Survivor anymore,
and I'm not motivated to try to find people to make a team with.
Initial Impressions based on Appearance
alone
Coby: Just looks very gay.
Ian: Yikes, he actually frightens me
with his appearance. Can you imagine turning around a dark corner
and seeing that face staring back at you. Frightening.
Janu: She's a Vegas showgirl, and her
brief appearances on the commercials remind me distinctly of Marquesas'
Sarah (aka Cleopatra)
Wanda: Scary. I think the CBS people
choose the very worst picture they can find. At least for Wanda's
sake I hope that is the case.
Willard: I think I know who's getting
voted out first..... I just have a feeling that the young'ns aren't
getting voted out first this time.
Angie: Strikes me as one who wants
to provoke and shock...yet not really all that shocking herself.
Everybody Else: A very good looking,
and seemingly younger cast. That's why I think there is not going
to be as much young vs. old this time.
