The Ol’ Gang is Back Together!

Mostly. What the hell am I talking about, you say? I’m back in NYC!!! Not only that though, as big deal, right? I was just back in November! The real cool thing is that my ENTIRE team is in NYC, all at the same time. Yep – Sharon is back from Israel for the week, along with me, George & Nicki from LA. This whole first day back at work was fantastic. I had forgotten how nice it is when you have all the people that work for you all in one place. IT’S SO MUCH EASIER. Funny enough, it doesn’t really seem like much has changed – in a good way. I guess it isn’t that surprising since we do talk on the phone all the time but there is a difference between phone-interactions vs. in-person interactions.

Beyond getting to visit with my team again, I also finally got to see the brand new commissary in 30 Rock. INSANE. It’s just like a commissary you’d see in a movie – think “The Devil Wears Prada”. I kid you not. Modern decor, windows overlooking the plaza, a double-floor ceiling height, amazing video screens everywhere – it’s gorgeous. Such an amazing place to eat and just stare out a window. Compared to the previous scuzzy one? WOW.
