Well, today the beginning of the end commenced as Southern California’s wildfire season seemed to start much sooner than normal because of the terrible drought conditions we’ve got going on. Â As you’d naturally think, it’s totally a good idea to start a campfire in the completely dried out foothills – you know, because that’s just what you do. Â What? Â It’s not a good idea? Â And a small gust of wind can start an inferno that envelops the foothills north of Glendora and Azusa, eventually even the area north of Duarte? Â And your mom starts to naturally and reasonably freak out and prepares to evacuate? Â Yeah, great idea!
Just the pictures are intense to look at – as you can see, sometimes the flames were just a bit overwhelming to look at as it looked straight out of a movie. Â One of the pics below totally looks like a Volcano. Â “The Coast is Toast”, indeed.
Gotta temper the frustration and rage at such stupidity with regards to the 3 idiots who “accidentally” set the fire by imagining that everyone who is getting saved or helped by firemen are encountering men who look something like this:
