I’m getting to pretend for a day or two that I am working in Denver, which is one of the possibilities I was considering when I was first getting out of the military. Honestly though, it’s really nothing like what my possibility was looking like, as I was really considering at the time to live in the Springs and commute to Denver. Ugh. That would be a nightmare, especially in situations like this morning, when it snowed all night and leaves the roads a mess.
But anyway, I’m out here to work and look at the facility that we have here in this neck of the woods and it’s pretty neat. Serious money has been spent on making the NBC part of the building really nice and it’s also been good just to see what all happens here. Still glad that I get to work and live in Los Angeles though.
I’m also looking forward to tomorrow as after work, I’ll get to hang out with Susan, KD & (I think) Eric!!!!! So excited to get a chance to spend some quality time with my CS buddies. That’s probably what I miss the most about Colorado as I wish I could have scooped them up and taken them with me to NYC and then LA.
