Larry got the supplies today and so after dinner, it was time to make some cake! First up was a chocolate bundt cake from the Martha Stewart Cakes cookbook. It was pretty successful! I think the thing we really have to work at for this particular recipe is getting the consistency of the ganache glaze just right so it does the whole dripping thing as can be seen in the recipe photo. But the deliciousness of the cake and the ganache glaze can’t be ignored. CAKE. Perhaps a pound cake is next? As is really working out quite a lot to be able to counteract all the cake you just HAVE to eat.
