Getting to live up in the International Space Station is something that sounds really cool, but I think the reality of it would grow tiresome after the first few days. Plus, have you SEEN the movie Gravity? I imagine once you’ve spun around the world so many times, the majesty of Earth probably can somehow (?) get boring. So it’s a great thing that a new American astronaut has arrived up there in the last month, Reid Wiseman.
Yeah, I know, is my interest in this story driven by something…anything else? Perhaps. Yes, Astronaut Wiseman is cute as hell. But you know what, cuteness/hotness only gets you so far in my book. His personality on Twitter has also been fantastic, as he’s seemingly like any of us if we were given the greatest vista in the history of mankind: he takes pictures of everything and gasps in amazement at everything he gets to see. Better yet is that he tweets these photos out to the world….
I don’t often use the 800mm, but Coronado CA was absolutely worth the effort. pic.twitter.com/2IpNXfq7xu

And these are just from the past month….you can get lost in his Twitter feed and just marvel at how amazing the Earth is…and how small we all seem from way up there. Also, Reid Wiseman is cute and funny and he is the best thing floating around up 20k miles away. Plus how awesome is it that he demonstrated the weightlessness of space by showing a floating craps die?
