This past Friday, the Southern California PwC markets held a combined Promotion Day at the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland. Not too shabby, PwC, not too shabby at all. I had a great time and enjoyed the park, but took this particular excursion a lot less intensely than Larry & my previous outings, as first, Larry wasn’t there with me. Free tickets were available for just staff – if you wanted to have a guest, that was on your own dime. Plus, we weren’t going to be in the park until after 1pm, so buying a full-price ticket for just a half day, factored in with it being Friday in SoCal, meant it didn’t make too much sense for Larry to come down. I ended up hanging out with some of my work friends and it was fun.
Having just been to the park this January, I didn’t feel compelled to get on absolutely everything like normal. I did get on Space Mountain, the Monorail, Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean though. Those rides and associated lines were enough to occupy about 5 hours of time and by that point, I was ready for going home. Disneyland in the heat and surrounded by what I assume were billions of children adds up to me wanting to get the fuck outta dodge after a while.
So here are my pics from the day – including some of LA Union Station as I took the train into work that day to ride the company-sponsored bus to Anaheim.
