Back to the Bowl for “Back to the Future”

It was my first Hollywood Bowl concert of the season (having missed the “Sound of Music Sing-a-Long”) and it was pretty fun.  We were going to watch the movie, Back to the Future, with the orchestra accompaniment.  Pretty great, and it’s an awesome movie anyway, so to watch it with a crowd that loved it was even more fun.   The producer, Bob Gale, introduced the movie, bringing out some of the high-level crew first and then some of the cast, including Lea Thompson (Lorraine McFly), Claudia Wells (the original Jennifer), Donald Fullilove (Mayor Goldie Wilson), and happily, Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown!!!).  Larry was thrilled to see this, which was reason enough for me to be there too!
