Not ANOTHER Double Elimination!
I know that the game of Survivor can't ever be considered
fair, but to me, a double elimination week is truly unfair.
What is the point of trying to compete when you know you're
just going to have to vote out one of your own anyways? I
can see at least putting the food out like a carrot and making
teams salivate, and then offering the chance to eavesdrop
at a tribal council, but still, it kinda sucks.
So Brian isn't the mastermind, after
all
Well, I had been pulling for Brian a little because I thought
he was at least trying to play the game and be all sneaky-like.
Like him though, I was quite surprised that everyone on NewYaxha,
EVERYONE voted Brian off this tribal council. I guess he was
judged to be the weakest, even over Amy the Gimp. Mind you,
I love Amy to pieces, but her ankle is only going to get worse.
But I have a feeling that people were getting nervous around
Brian and were worried that Mr. Survivor was a tad too schemy.
Margaret vs. Judd
To be honest, I don't like Judd much. I pretty much agree
with Margaret's assessment of him that she gave at tribal
council. What was priceless was when Judd was asking the others
of his team to see if he lets people talk or not. And then
he proceeded to interrupt every single one of them who said
or did something more than nod. Margaret was definitely making
herself a target with her actions, but she didn't come across
a fucking lunatic at tribal council: Judd did. There is no
freakin' way that Judd would win the million dollars, because
as the other tribemates are saying, he's got no clue how to
be political. He says what's on his mind (admirable, to a
point) and basically comes across as a jerk. Through all that
though, even though the foreshadowing of Judd saying he felt
completely confident about tribal council seemed to indicate
maybe a shock, it was quite clear to figure out that Margaret
was the one going home. When you need a target, and someone
happily provides one, you don't really look beyond it. I am
thinking that the tension at camp will go away for a while,
but eventually Judd's behavior will come around to him, even
if it is at the final 2 tribal council, which is quite possible
if he and Stephenie stick it out.
Clash of the Doofuses
Bobby Jon and Blake are stupidheads.
Final Thoughts
Like I mentioned before, I don't like double elimination.
But it was an enjoyable episode nonetheless. But I still wait
for 'THAT' episode, the one that makes me write tons and tons
about it because it was just that cool. As it is, this season
has been very moderate with a few highlights. And please,
give Danni some food.

Other's Thoughts:
C-Money speaks!!!!!!
Okay...
I decided I'd get this out to you today, and now I have completely
forgotten what I wanted to write... Maybe I AM a real blond??
So, It's not "quite" the individual immunity challenge
I was thinking about, it was a little different. Push a ball
over a line 3 times and you win food, real food. Amy, that
chick is cool... I would have curled up, sucking my thumb
after that second rolled ankle. She is a trooper in my book
and I think I'm rooting for her from now on. I rolled my ankle
in May and it still bothers me now.
Jamie got excited about winning again and this time Bobby
John bowed up on him. His reason? "Too much testosterone,
Jeff". Not the fact that you don't like him? Not the
fact that he pissed you off last challenge? Just too much
"man" out there. Okay, whatever.
Judd, you are a typical New York/New Jersey boy. I like your
style because it reminds me of being at home. You can't open
the friggin' bags that had the tiles in them, but you can
tell the little weasel-ly kid what the answer is. I'm thinking,
it may be why you were not voted out, that you gave up the
2 word answer to Rafe. Rafe reminds of someone in a movie
but I cannot remember who... I'll remember in the middle of
the night. I'll wake up screaming the name or the movie...
I never really liked Margaret. Sure, it was cool to have an
RN on the island with everyone, but she was WAY to matronly.
She was driving me crazy too. Plus, she got all bitchy when
Brooke was voted out. If you're going to sit around and mope,
just suck it up and know that you'll be out of there soon,
you know? But, to try to sabotage Judd before you go, that
was just wrong. She sat there acting like her shit didn't
stink, egging Judd on, trying to make him out to be the bad
guy. She lost cool points fro that one.
I was taken by surprise that Brian was voted out too. He had
NO clue (neither did I) that he was on the chopping block.
I thought for sure because Amy had hurt her leg again they
would have voted her out, but they didn't. It was also funny
that while Rafe was sitting there, the Yaxha tribe took the
higher road and said that Nakum was a good tribe. They aren't
unsportsmanlike like at all. (yeah, right). I'm sure we'll
see next week they had "other" things to say when
they got back to camp...
So, that's my take. Not very exciting cuz I forgot all the
stuff I was thinking about saying. But, I did say something...
Until next week. C-Money - OUT.
Byron chimes in?
Linus laments?
Mom mumbles?
Fox pontificates?
Robbie ruminates?
