Excerpts from my travel journal:
Well, I'm on my way home. Alright! It was a tear-filled farewell
scene replete with hysterics for all involved, believe you me. Okay,
maybe not. But I know I'm excited. I am now sitting in Berliner-Tegel
Airport, and get this, I'm surrounded by no less than I would say
200 Japanese students all dressed identically in a black uniform.
It's very surreal. And interesting. And I don't care, because I
get to go home soon. Just like 18 hours of flying or so, and I have
to write a stupid paper on the STE so I can submit it, late, to
the UoP newgroup. Sometimes, I really wish I were done with this
school nonsense. I would take a picture of this airport crowd, because
I am a definite minority of white, both literally and in terms of
clothing, right now. Crazy.
