The Eighth Leg - Part 1
It doesn't look good for
Meredith and Gretchen!
So, our first 'To Be Continued' episode. I guess it had to happen
eventually. But c'mon, can Meredith and Gretchen possibly pull this
off? It's very doubtful. They're going slower and slower each leg,
and I think Gretchen is losing it even more each leg. And just who
did all those Indians think Meredith and Gretchen were? It must
have been the cameras or something, but that was a little odd. I'm
still trying to figure out who they look like that would make people
clap for them. Anyways......
Khwai River
Lodge, Botswana to Lucknow, India
I don't have too much motivation for this page, as no one was eliminated,
very little drama, and I just overall the episode didn't do too
much for me. So here is a bulleted list of what I thought the highlights
were:
- The alliance of Rob & Amber with Ron & Kelly is amusing.
You can tell who is benefitting from this alliance and who isn't
- Ron & Kelly are so being carried by R&A, it's not even
funny. When R&K finally have to do something on their own, they
end up bickering. Not too much hope for them, especially considering
the background of their picture!
- The taxi fiasco at the Lucknow airport was entertaining. The
calm, inside window that Uchenna & Joyce went to didn't seem
to be hidden, yet here all the other teams were, screaming and haggling.
- A YIELD, and those dummies Ron & Kelly don't use it against
Rob & Amber. There's only one more opportunity to possibly use
this, and for the first time, someone was in front of Rob &
Amber. Obviously it should have been used, even with the alliance
there. You take any and all advantages you can get. Sure, it could
backfire and bite you in the butt at the last YIELD (think Adam
and Rebecca from last season), but you take that chance. Even Rob
admitted he would have yielded!
- Gretchen, Gretchen, Gretchen. How will you find a clue when you
are too busy exclaiming about all the silver boxes? You won't. So
shut up and open some boxes already!
I guess we'll see what happens next week. It won't be too shocking
to see M&G sent packing though at the end.
