I wish I could say it wasn't sad,
but it just is
Good
riddance to this useless castaway. Did Kim even last a second
on the sumo pad? Who could have thought that this tribe would
be so pathetic? I completely agree with Stephenie's and Angie's
assessment of their predicament: They're doing all they can
to win these challenges yet the guys, and Kim, just aren't
able to contribute or perform. I can't believe Coby completely
took James out both times, although Coby does have mass on
his side. Anyways, farewell to Kim, who took on the proud
title that Sarah of Marquesas had left available after she
was voted out so many seasons ago. What's that title? Most
Useless Survivor.
The Battle of the Better Bathroom
Was it even close? No. Koror's bathroom had style, had creativity,
had functionality (the shower head that could adjust to height?
Sweet.), and overall blew away Ulong's bathroom. Okay, Ulong's
bathroom wasn't catastrophic, such as the way Rupert's undersea
beach log cabin was on All Stars, but compared to Koror's,
no contest.
Immunity Challenge - and now there
were 4 straight losses
It's so hard to root for Koror. At least for me. I keep wanting
the underdog to win, but the more that Koror wins and bonds
and establishes a team unity, and the more that Ulong's morale
plummets, it seems almost impossible for Ulong to overcome
the odds. And how awesome are the Ulong girls (besides Kim)?
Angie and Stephenie rock! 4 for 4. Amazing. Bobby Jon was
against Tom, and he still tried valiantly, but Tom is just
stronger, methinks. Ibrehem got his ass handed to him his
first round, but that second round attack was impressive.
And I've already mentioned how sad James' defeat was. Both
times. So, Koror won a deserved immunity again, and we had
to watch Ulong go to tribal council, again.
Tribal Council: Where even Jeff Probst
is trying to help Ulong out
When Jeff Probst actually decides that he needs to help Ulong
figure out where they're going wrong, you know you're in trouble.
You know, I briefly thought the girls would do the girlpower
thing and I'm glad they didn't. Don't worry about any male-female
alliances just yet - just try to survive until the merge or
swap or whatever happens. And to do that, Ulong had to get
rid of completely useless baggage. So they properly voted
out Kim. But dayum, will Ulong catch a break?
Final Thoughts
Based on the previews, it's plausible that next week (remember,
next WEDNESDAY) we will see some sort of tribal shift. I don't
think they'll equalize the tribes, as that would be somewhat
unfair, but who knows? This definitely has not been the most
'fair' of Survivors, from the schoolyard ejection of Wanda
and Jonathan to the amazing reward of a fully-rebuilt shelter.
So it'll be interesting. I just really hope that Angie and
Stephenie somehow make it far. It does seem that there are
fractures in the Koror tribe, they just haven't been stressed
yet. If so, Angie and Stephenie, if they play smart, could
use that to their advantage and be the vote(s) to break the
Koror teams. Needless to say, I'm still hooked.

Other's Thoughts:
C-Money
speaks - It's On....:
So, Kimmy is already whinning because
Jeff is gone. I hate her...
And we are swappin people already. Poor Cody, you are just
NOW realizing that you are not part of the group? Duh! And
even suggesting sending Kim from the Ulong, ha! They just
want to get rid of her. Boy, Ian sure is a GEEK, eh? Look
at his cheesy smile! So they are going to build a bathroom?
What kind of challenge is that? Willard actually did something
too? It's nice to actually see these people start working
together (on both teams). Boy, Caryn sure is a beyotch isn't
she? Tom is the guy who took charge and is a good leader,
accept it and get over it, girl Do you think you could do
a better job??? Step up then.
Kim thinks she the smart one???!! Holy crap! She is so useless!!!
These people are working their asses off and working together
and getting a job done while you just sit and watch. Of course
people are going to argue and think they have better ideas
than the others, but you know what? They have EARNED that
right. They're working. What are YOU doing?
Now comes the judging. AND, Ulong isn't done yet??? Man, that's
bad. Plus, Koror did a better job of selling the bathroom.
Just waiting to see. Koror wins it. I figured they would.
Poor Ulong, but they just didn't have to sturdiness the Koror
tribe had. Let's hope that losing this one gets them going
to win the immunity. Champagne to go with it too! Cool! Caryn,
you are a GAY drunk too! Red Neck James, you tell 'em! You're
gonna win the immunity challenge because of it. Be strong!
Be Mad! Be Mean!!! Win! Win!!! WIN!!
Sumo wrestling for the immunity challenge? This ought to be
fun. Some of these challenges are just too bloody. Heartless
this time. Angie's got this one, NO PROBLEM!!! Kim did not
EVEN try!!! What a BITCH! Ibrhem spoke again!! Come on RED
NECK!!! Please, beat the gay guy... man, this SUCKS! I'm tired
of seeing these guys lose. Koror needs to get rid of someone,
well 2 someones. You know, next week they will have to redistribute
the teams.
I will totally be disappointed in this tribe (Ulong) if they
do not get rid of the useless, flakey, lazy Kim. I may not
even watch it anymore if they don't vote her ass off. You
would be SO STUPID to vote off one of the men, I'm not even
going to dignify this with a rant...
Jeff, that was rude! "I saved your seats for you..."
I would have gotten up and punched him in the neck!
Good job, got rid of the lazy one. I had no doubts this time.
Even though CBS tried, I didn't even falter. Buh-Bye Kim!
BTW, say all kinds of prayers and cross everything, I'm testing
Monday. I want to be a MSgt!!

Comments - Ep 4:
CHIME!
We had a comm problem. Figures, two
comm guys having a comm problem. No biggie, I fixed it by
having a hissy fit in the guest book. I feel better.
As for Survivor...
I'm glad the reward challenge was something simple. They've
been physically grueling so at least this one relied upon
some creativity and thought. I liked Ulong's bathroom design
but it was a bit flimsy. At first I didn't like Koror's but
then I starting thinking about it. It was a good idea to separate
the shower and bathroom and I did like the adjustable shower
head. That's an important detail for height challenged squirrels
like me. So good on Koror. Poor Ulong, now they can't even
win a reward challenge.
Of course Kim didn't help them at all.
Immunity challenge was cruel. I suspect
the pairing of Red Neck James and Coby was completely on purpose
and done in the hopes of sparking more controversy. Yep, the
writers seem to be back.
Of course, Kim didn't help them at
all. Again.
The editing would suggest a girl alliance
forming. This is NOT the time for that. You're a dying tribe
and you need to fix it and come together. Ulong is small and
they need to weed out the dead wood. They would be suicidal
if they got rid of anyone other than Kim.
Tribal council comes and.... Bye-bye
Female Futher. (Kim reminds me of someone else I know.) It
was smart that my girl Angie and Stephenie figured it out.
Now Ulong is lean and if they can just pick a leader and come
together, they can completely control the game. They can be
a block of 5 that can tear apart the Koror block of 5 and
4. It's now their game to lose!
Overall,
I'll give it just another week.
