Final Two: Cindy and Rafe
I'm not the biggest fan of Rafe, mind you, but the self-proclaimed
gay Mormon can win immunity challenges. And when you can do
that, whether they're mental or physical, you're a force to
be reckoned with. Partner him with Cindy (in a strictly platonic
sense, of course...), and you've got a powerhouse twosome
that is not an overt threat, at least not yet. They're definitely
on the radar, but people have such a hardon for Stephenie
now, especially Chip, I mean Lydia, that Cindy and Rafe can
get by unnoticed. At least, that is my grandmaster plan for
the future. It had better happen.
Thanksgiving Turkey
So many of the survivors can take this title during this
episode, but I have to give it to Lydia. She really hasn't
watched this show before, has she? You never get all bitchy
like that and expect to not suffer repercussions. Did I think
Stephenie overreacted just a lil' bit? Yes. But was it out
of the blue? Nope, especially when Lydia was a supposed alliance
mate who now wants to share the wealth. Well, last time I
checked, this is a game where you have to win to get things.
And Lydia, it was you, not Stephenie, who got buried in the
mud and had to crawl all pathetic-like to the end. So when
you actually earn a reward challenge, then maybe you can 'share'
the wealth with the others.
Stephenie, the one who will not win
As I watch this season, it is so obvious that there is no
way in hell that Stephenie will win this. The only chance
she had in which she could have won was against Bobby Jon.
But with Bobby Jon, Jamie, and Lydia all on or destined for
the jury, she'd need to be pretty damn convincing at the Final
2 Tribal Council to win. Maybe it's possible still, I don't
know, but methinks not very possible.
Gary fumbles and Judd stumbles
I'm happy that Gary is gone, because if it wasn't him, then
it could have been my girl Cindy, and I am NOT happy with
that possibility. I did love that Gary totally called out
Judd at the tribal council for being a liar. And while Judd
did the best damage control he could do by admitting his lie,
he certainly has now shown to be one of the most obvious liars
out there. Rafe's look of astonishment was enough that now
I must consider that if it's Stephenie and Judd at the Final
2, Stephenie has a very good shot at winning. Hmmm...... Do
I think that's a likely Final 2? Not really, but with the
Final 4 looking like Cindy-Judd-Stephenie-Rafe, it's certainly
one possibility. But Rafe and Cindy are the challenge winners,
at least I hope so.
Final Thoughts
Well, I hope that I have some TV access this week so I can
watch the next episode of Survivor. I then hope to have some
DirecTV action the week after when I'm moved into the Colorado
house. But back to me not whining about TV: I think that now
that Gary is out, the editing will make it look like Danni
orchestrates some kind of hail mary to break up the final
foursome.... but will ultimately fail, and she'll go next.
Lydia, while annoying, is hardly the strategic genius, and
can be kept around because she's just not up for being a good
swing vote, and the final 4 don't seem likely to turn on each
other at that point. But hell, who knows? Just have to watch
and see. It does seem quite likely though that we're going
to see the family members arrive next week, and I am betting
this is when the nasty food challenge will arise!
